Dr. Mark Steinberg
Our goal is to provide a warm, safe, and professional environment. I consider myself a general practitioner for the Pediatric through Geriatric population and have been in practice for 30 years. To become a Naturopathic Physician, I attended Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, a four-year postgraduate Naturopathic Medical School. I became licensed in Oregon and Washington in 1982 and started my private practice in Bellingham in 1983. From 1983 to 1986 I also taught Geriatric and Physical Medicine at Bastyr University. In my off-hours, I am an avid cyclist and skier.
Being a healthy insulin dependent diabetic for over 50 years and maintaining good health has taught me a lot and I can thank my field of study for much of that. Even though I treat all conditions my study of diabetes and other endocrine disorders like thyroid dysfunction, menopause and low testosterone have become a sub-specialty for me.Speak with Mark
Dr. Jessica Ardern-Wilson
I graduated from the Naturopathic Medical program at Bastyr University in June 2014 and have joined Dr. Mark Steinberg in his well established practice in Bellingham, WA. Previous to Bastyr I received my Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing at Seattle University and worked in sales and commercial real estate. Through my own struggles with sickness and disease, I found my true calling to Naturopathic Medicine and decided to pursue my dream. I care about people with a passion and found that Naturopathic Medicine is the best way to enhance an individual’s ability to thrive. My specific clinical interests include women’s health, cardiovascular disease and mental health, but I have experience working with a variety of conditions and in many areas of medicine. I utilize all kinds of modalities including homeopathy, craniosacral, nutrition and counseling and I enjoy working with patients of all ages, genders and orientations. In my free time I like to snowboard, hike, enjoy live music and dance.Speak with Jessica
Dot has worked for Bellingham Naturopathic Clinic since late October, 2015. Dot enjoys the different working styles of the three doctors that make up the practice. She likes to see each and every patient through the appointment process from check-in as a new patient to follow-up encounters. When not at work, Dot can be found spending time with her family, walking her big, goofy dog, reading, watching Netflix series and cooking.
Mike moved back to Bellingham from Seattle where he attended the University of Washington studying Informatics. As much as he liked the city and the energy he loves being back in Bellingham. Mike likes to hit the courts and play basketball during his off time and spending many hours laying in a hammock at Boulevard Park but works very hard at the office. He has a great time at work and tries to keep an upbeat and positive attitude at all times, even on Monday mornings he never seems to get flustered.
